Injury Rehabilitation

Injury Rehabilitation is the implementation of a graded exercise program following injury, joint replacement or other surgical procedures that aim to regain full function of the affected area.

Programs of this nature begin with the aim of improving range of motion and movement, with the progression to strength and stability based exercises (as pain and discomfort reduces). As Exercise physiologists we do not provide hands on manipulation, our role is to provide education and personalised exercise prescription to rehabilitate specific injuries. We generally assist in the management of chronic injuries/longer term rehabilitation programs more so than acute treatment. Some of the more common injuries that we work with can be found below:

Telehealth services for Exercise Physiology are now bulk billable with a current referral.
